OK. This is phenomenal. The most anticipated movie this year.
The Batman is darker than ever….
People are talking about this movie like crazy. Approximately 2.5 hours with full tense. A psycho thriller if I may say. This is not at all a children`s movie. In fact I saw several parents with kids exit the studio in the first hour (oohh…please parents, do some research first before decided to buy the tickets!). 99% of my friends were amazed by this movie, and most of them were speechless after they saw it.
Really?? Is it that good??
Let’s see.. Is it because people didn’t mind stand in lines for like hours to buy the tickets? I don’t think so, it’s the IMDB rating! Which shows that The Dark Knight has reached the almost perfect point, which is 9.1. It’s the number holds by The Godfather and Shawshank Redemption, the best movies ever!! Hmmm… is it really that good??
From my point of view, Heath Ledger really helps The Dark Knight. There would be no people stand up in lines for hours if not because of his death which causes their curiosity. There would be no speechless audience if he’s not The Joker. There also would be no ‘best superhero movie’ (some say) if he’s not in it. Yes, it’s all because of Heath Ledger. No other reason. There’s no cool Dark Knight if there’s no Heath. I’ve said it..!
It’s not a bad movie. It’s a nice one, actually. Nolan wrapped it beautifully. Nice action scenes (Batman in the BatPod, by the way..sooo cool!!) and a very good ending. But, I don’t know.. I’m not too impressed. I didn’t even say ‘wow’ after the movie, I didn’t have the will to ‘re-watch’ the movie (just like I experienced after watching Iron Man). I don’t know, different taste probably? It just didn’t struck me.
And the 9.1?? Are you guys kidding me?? There’s no way The Dark Knight deserves to stand at the point as those two said movies..! Those are all-time masterpieces. I believe 9.1 for The Dark Knight here is only a ‘shock’ point. The point which you guys give while you are still amazed at this moment, not an all-time point. It’ll loose…
Sorry guys, I don’t hate the movie. But I just don’t think this is an ‘almost perfect’ one. I enjoyed watching Michael Caine, though..
